Job Summary




  • The Business Analyst bridges business and technology functions at ipNX by aligning business needs with technical solutions, driving operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.

  • This role analysis business processes, identifies improvement opportunities, translates requirements into actionable solutions, and manages internal products and project lifecycles.

  • By leveraging process automation and aligning IT initiatives with business strategy, the Business Analyst ensures successful project delivery and measurable business impact.



Responsibilities




  • Assess business processes to identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and revenue growth

  • Elicit and align business requirements with technical specifications through interviews, workshops, and document analysis.

  • Create and validate Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) and System Requirements Documents (SRD) to guide development teams.

  • Create and validate business requirements documents, user stories, and mockups to support solution development.

  • Lead stakeholder walkthroughs to ensure clarity and obtain sign-off on requirements

  • Achieve alignment between business and IT teams to ensure solutions meet strategic goals

  • Document ‘as –is’ processes and ‘to-be’ process, applying the knowledge of business process modelling notations to process documentations.

  • Facilitate process discovery, re-engineering, improvement and analysis sessions to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

  • Develop sustainable improvement plans with measurable outcomes

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using tools like n8n, Microsoft Power Automate, etc

  • Design and deploy automated workflows to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

  • Measure automation impact.

  • Develop project plans and timelines using methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

  • Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure delivery within scope and quality standards.

  • Manage backlogs, prioritise features, and create user stories for development teams.

  • Use tools like Jira, Zoho Project, to monitor deliverables.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with IT solutions.

  • Communicate progress and outcomes effectively to ensure stakeholder buy-in.

  • Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and identify trends that impact business performance.



Qualifications and Experience




  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information System, Business Management & Other Related courses (2.2/ Upper Credit Minimum)

  • 2-4 years experience as a Business Analyst/Business Process Analyst

  • Professional Qualification (ECBA, CCBA, CBPP) an added advantage

  • Aligning business and technical requirements for IT solutions

  • Requirements elicitation and gathering, requirements analysis skills

  • Business process modeling (e.g., BPMN, UML) using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.

  • Process automation with tools like n8n, Power Automate, or low-code platforms

  • Project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, Zoho Project)

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, presentation and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven experience in creating BRD, SRS, and aligning business and technical requirements.

  • Familiarity with process automation, product lifecycle management, and project delivery.

  • Experience with tools like Jira, n8n, UiPath, Power Automate is a plus

  • Understanding of workflows, processes, and their representation using standard modelling techniques.

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to abstract & systematic approach to problem solving

  • Proactive, high sense of responsibility as well as independent and structured way of working

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Listen, Observation, Written, Verbal and Non Verbal.
