Job Overview:



We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Medical Officer to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered clinical care in accordance with best practices and medical protocols.   • Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, physical examinations, and relevant diagnostic assessments.

  • Provide accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications.

  • Collaborate with specialists and consultants in the management of complex or referred cases.

  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, ensure detailed medical documentation, and communicate clearly with patients and their families.

  • Participate in ward rounds, clinical audits, and case discussions.

  • Respond to medical emergencies and perform resuscitation and emergency care procedures as needed.

  • Uphold ethical standards and ensure compliance with internal hospital policies and national healthcare regulations.

  • Engage in Continuous Medical Education (CME) and professional development initiatives.

  • Offer support and mentorship to junior doctors and interns where applicable.

  • Perform additional clinical duties as assigned by supervising consultants or management.



Qualifications and Requirements:




  • MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical institution.

  • Fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

  • Valid practicing license.

  • Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC clinical experience, preferably in a hospital setting.

  • Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are an added advantage.

  • Sound clinical judgment and excellent decision-making capabilities.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to patient welfare.
