We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional Chef/Cook who will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen efficiency, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Develop a diverse and appealing menu;
Preparation of fresh, high-quality dishes;
Collaborate with procurement to source quality food stuff and ingredients;
Train and supervise kitchen staff;
Monitor food costs, portion sizes, and kitchen operations to maximize profitability;
Stay updated on food trends to continuously innovate and refine menu offerings;
Ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of OND or equivalent in Culinary Arts and Certification in Food Handling and Safety is an added advantage.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience.
Ability to adjust recipes based on customer feedback and dietary requirements.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple orders simultaneously, and undertake shift-based work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
