Job Summary



  • This role will support the financial controller in financial reporting, budget analysis, Income statement and the management of internal financial processes.


Job Description



  • Maintain records of financial transactions in order to prepare financial statements and other reports

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports

  • Ensure that all accounting systems, procedures are in line with the International Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standard

  • Review General Ledger Balance Sheet reconciliations including the Bank Reconciliation

  • Responsible for the asset management system

  • Maintain quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

  • Liaise with external auditors/consultants in the preparation of annual audited financial statements

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns

  • Oversee tax audit exercises and follow up with the relevant government agencies

  • Manage compliance, reporting, and filing


Job Experience



  • Minimum of HND / B.Sc Finance or Accounting.

  • Internationally recognized accounting professional qualifications (ACA CPA, ACCA, CMA,)

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience, preferably in abig 4 consulting firm

  • Proficiency with financial ERP platforms; previous experience using Sage is an added advantage.

  • Advance understanding of double-entry principles

  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage expectations from different stakeholders.

  • Intermediate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools

  • Ability to achieve results with minimal supervision
