Job Summary




  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Officer to manage and maintain customer accounts, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide excellent customer service.

  • As an Account Officer, you will play a key role in building strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the growth and profitability of our organization.



Key Responsibilities

Account Management:




  • Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

  • Conduct regular account reviews and reconciliations.



Customer Service:




  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

  • Build strong relationships with customers, identifying their needs and offering tailored solutions.



Financial Analysis:




  • Conduct financial analysis and credit assessments to evaluate customer creditworthiness.

  • Monitor account performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities.



Sales and Business Development:




  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.

  • Cross-sell and upsell products and services to existing customers.



Reporting and Compliance:




  • Prepare and submit reports on account performance, customer activity, and compliance.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and procedures.



Collaboration:




  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and risk management teams.



Requirements




  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

  • Experience: Prior experience in account management, banking, or finance.



Skills:




  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.



Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CFA, CFP, or ACCA, are an advantage.
