Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Officer to manage and maintain customer accounts, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide excellent customer service.
- As an Account Officer, you will play a key role in building strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the growth and profitability of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management:
- Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Conduct regular account reviews and reconciliations.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Build strong relationships with customers, identifying their needs and offering tailored solutions.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis and credit assessments to evaluate customer creditworthiness.
- Monitor account performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
- Cross-sell and upsell products and services to existing customers.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and submit reports on account performance, customer activity, and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and procedures.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and risk management teams.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in account management, banking, or finance.
Skills:
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CFA, CFP, or ACCA, are an advantage.
