Job Description

• A Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, arc, or gas welding.


• The role includes interpreting technical drawings, preparing materials, conducting welding tasks with precision, and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Welding Tasks: Weld metal components using appropriate techniques based on project or repair requirements.


• Read Blueprints & Drawings: Interpret welding symbols and engineering drawings to determine welding specifications.


• Prepare Materials & Equipment: Set up tools, clean and align metal parts, and select proper welding equipment and consumables.


• Inspect & Test Welds: Check welded joints for strength and accuracy; identify and fix defects if needed.


• Follow Safety Standards: Use protective gear and adhere to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 10 years work experience.
