Job Description

• A Boiler Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of steam boilers and associated equipment. 


• The role ensures continuous supply of steam or hot water for plant operations, while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Boiler Systems: Start, operate, and shut down steam boilers and related equipment according to standard procedures.


• Monitor System Parameters: Check pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel levels regularly to maintain safe operations.


• Routine Maintenance: Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance such as blowdown, lubrication, and cleaning.


• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Identify and report malfunctions; assist in or carry out necessary repairs to minimize downtime.


• Safety & Record Keeping: Maintain operation logs and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and boiler regulations.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 1 year experience
