Position Overview
We’re looking for a highly skilled and driven design professional to own W2A’s visual identity across digital and print channels. You must be passionate about branding, capable of producing high-quality designs under tight deadlines, and willing to contribute proactively to brand evolution. Core Responsibilities
Brand Identity Development
- Maintain and enhance a consistent brand identity across all platforms.
- Design logos, color palettes, typography, branded templates, and visual guidelines.
- Produce materials such as brochures, presentations, business cards, and branded souvenirs.
- Periodically audit and refine existing brand assets.
Digital & Print Graphic Design
- Design graphics for W2A website, social media, newsletters, and marketing campaigns.
- Create high-impact visuals for events: banners, posters, stage backdrops, and publications.
- Ensure all assets are optimized for specific formats and platforms (print and digital).
Visual Content Collaboration
- Work with the communications and growth teams to design visuals for campaigns.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with brand goals.
- Provide creative input that supports and enhances campaign strategies.
Website and Digital Presence
- Support the redesign and upkeep of the W2A website from a visual design perspective.
- Design engaging infographics, research visuals, and multimedia elements.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Innovation & Trend Research
- Stay informed about design trends, digital innovation, and competitors’ branding approaches.
- Propose new ideas to elevate W2A’s visual engagement and visibility.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2–4 years' experience in graphic design or branding (agency or in-house).
- Strong portfolio showcasing digital design (link required).
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, etc.
- Working knowledge of UI/UX principles is an advantage.
- Strong sense of layout, typography, and color theory.
- Excellent time management and ability to handle high-volume design tasks under pressure.
- Must reside in Abuja and be available for in-person interview and design assessment.
Bonus Skills
- Basic video editing or motion graphics skills.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Experience with trade/investment or development sector branding.
