Job Purpose

• We are a leading insurance company seeking a talented Network Administrator to join our IT team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s ITnetwork, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wirelessnetworks.


• Monitornetworkperformance and ensure system availability and reliability.


• Troubleshoot and resolvenetworkissues, minimizing downtime and maintaining secure, uninterrupted operations.


• Configure and install variousnetworkdevices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and services (e.g., DNS, IPsec, VPN).


• Implement and maintain security measures to safeguardnetworksystems from threats.


• Work with the IT team to optimizenetworkperformance and support infrastructure upgrades.


• Maintainnetworkdocumentation and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.


• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and users regardingnetwork-related issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field


• Minimum 5 years hands on experience as a Network Administrator, preferably in the financial services or insurance sector


• Strong knowledge of network security protocols and experience managing complex IT systems

• Experience in network performance management, architecture development and security management


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS, WAFs and performance optimization tools


• Proven ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and vendors.
