Job Summary

• The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counselling, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense Medications:

• Review and verify prescription accuracy.


• Prepare and dispense medications following legal guidelines.


• Ensure proper labelling and packaging of medications.

Ensure Compliance:

• Adhere to relevant pharmacy laws and regulations.


• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medications.


• Monitor and manage inventory levels effectively.

Patient Counselling:

• Provide counselling and education on medications.


• Address patient concerns and inquiries.


• Promote adherence to prescribed medication regimens.

Manage Pharmacy Operations:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations.


• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians.


• Schedule staff shifts for optimal coverage.

Stay Current With Industry Trends:

• Continuously update knowledge of pharmaceutical advancements.


• Attend professional development programs.


• Stay informed about new medications and regulatory changes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Degree from an accredited institution.


• Valid pharmacist license in Nigeria.


• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy or clinical setting.


• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proficient computer skills and experience with pharmacy software systems.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
