Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility / Hospital Manager to oversee the efficient daily operations of our healthcare facility in Katsina.


• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing hospital or healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations while fostering a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment that supports quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of hospital facility operations, including maintenance, security, cleaning, and safety compliance.


• Ensure adherence to local and national healthcare regulations and standards.


• Supervise facility management staff and coordinate with vendors and contractors.


• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.


• Oversee budgeting, procurement, and resource management for facility operations.


• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and equipment servicing to minimise downtime.


• Lead emergency preparedness and response planning for the facility.


• Collaborate with hospital administration and clinical teams to support facility needs.


• Address facility-related issues raised by staff and patients in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience

• HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Healthcare Administration, Facility Management, or other related fields.


• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in facility or hospital management.


• Strong knowledge of healthcare facility regulations and safety standards.


• Proven leadership and team management skills.


• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.


• Proficient in facility management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
