Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the school, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets, monitor income and expenditure, and develop budget forecasts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Payroll Processing: Handle payroll for school employees, including deductions and ensuring timely payments.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and obligations.
- Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Internal Controls: Monitor the operation of financial controls and recommend improvements to safeguard school funds and assets.
- Auditing: Assist with annual audits and provide documentation as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to staff and parents, responding to inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with school administration, faculty, and staff on financial matters.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with at least 2 years work experience.
