We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team.
The Cook will be responsible for preparing meals, ensuring high-quality food standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation: Prepare a variety of dishes as per the menu, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
Menu Adherence: Follow recipes and portion controls as specified by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Inventory Management: Assist with stock management, including ordering and checking supplies.
Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards. Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
Food Safety & Hygiene: Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure food safety, including proper storage, handling, and temperature control.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy hours and support where needed.
Customer Satisfaction: Assist in ensuring that all meals are served on time and meet customer expectations.
Daily Prep Work: Prepare ingredients in advance for daily service, ensuring readiness for peak periods.
Special Dietary Requirements: Be aware of and cater to special dietary needs or allergies for customers, ensuring that all meals are prepared with care.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. A culinary degree or certification is a plus.
Skills:
Strong cooking and food preparation skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
