Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, reviewand negotiate commercial agreements and other legal documentation


• Providing oversight of the Company’s contract administration processes to ensure   compliance with applicable laws and other internal Company policies.


• Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management


• Handle dispute resolution, litigation management, and intellectual property matters


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver pragmatic legal solutions


• Carry out Company secretarial functions

Requirements & Skills

• Proven expertise in corporate/commercial law, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance 


• Strong knowledge of applicable Nigerian laws


• Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills


• Ability to work independently with minimal support/supervision


• High degree of professional ethics and integrity


• A great team player with good interpersonal skills


• Excellent time management and task prioritizing

Qualifications:

• Minimum of LLB and BL with strong academic credentials


• Two (2) to Five(5) years legal experience
