Job Description
- We are seeking a Business Development Manager for its UAV and GIS division. The person must have B2B sales experience within the UAV sector.
- This role reports directly to the Executive Management Team of Asseco Nigeria.
- The dynamic candidate must have a good understanding of the opportunities within the UAV & GIS sectors.
- He / she must be able to unearth opportunities and drive them to closure working with a highly experienced team of deployment experts. Strong leadership and self-management skills are also required.
Responsibilities
- Targeted revenue generation for the UAV & GIS Division
- Developing new customers and managing existing customers
- Proven business development experience
- A broad knowledge of sectors requiring UAV services – Precision Agriculture, Construction, Lands, Surveying, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Security etc
- Autonomous, self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent sales skills, with B2B experience within sectors detailed above
- Strong negotiation skills
- Results drivenExcellent communication skills
- A successful track record of strong relationship building
- Understand customer requirements for autonomous drone solutions and propose relevant Asseco services
- Draft detailed techno-commercial solutions including solution & deliverables, refine them in discussions with customers & technical team, and drive them to conversion into contracts.
- Ensure timely delivery of solutions engagements, coordinate between customer & technical teams, help validate the critical components, take ownership for post-delivery relationship management
- Mine solution customers for additional use-cases and subscription revenue, compile customer testimonials, publish case studies.
- Engage with the Executive Management with value propositions to drive business pipeline
- Promote company’s product and services in the digital space.
- Report & analyze on key performance indicators and find opportunities for improvement monthly.
- Stay on top of technology trends and developments.
- Manage own diary in order to organize and prioritize monthly, weekly and daily goals.
Requirements
- University Degree in Business Administration, Surveying, Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of successful work experience in B2B technology sales
- Minimum of 3 years in UAV / GIS centric solution sales
- Candidates must have a good understanding of the industry and current trends
- Full-time experience in the commercial drone industry, preferably working with customers across geographies and industry sectors
- Demonstrate strong personal & professional interest in using drones
- Can be effective in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Readiness to travel locally and internationally.
Salary
N6,000,000 / Annum.
