Role Description

• This is a full-time hybrid role for a Thrift Sales Intern at The DEW Center located in Lagos.


• The Thrift Store Intern will be responsible for sorting through large volume items, taking pictures of wares and posting on Instagram business page and Google drive, customer service, retail sales, organizing inventory, and handling deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Sorting and arranging clothes, footwears, jewellery, etc


• Taking clear pictures and posting on social media


• Taking customers orders, processing and coordinating delivery


• Actively engaging any inquiries on posts


• Identifying thrift stores that are open to buying declutter items


• Create and inventory taking


• Be on the lookout for declutter pop-up sales/events

Qualifications

• Communication and Customer Service skills


• Highly Organized


• Experience in taking good quality pictures for social media


• Ability to work independently


• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills


• Previous experience in a thrift store or retail environment is a plus


• OND certificate or equivalent
