Job Summary




  • Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Finance, to join the team.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, treasury, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

  • This role ensures that financial practices align with statutory requirements, supports strategic business goals, and enhances financial performance and sustainability



Responsibilities




  • Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s overall objectives.

  • Advise executive management on long-term business and financial planning.

  • Provide insights into business performance and financial risks.

  • Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Develop financial models to support business decisions and investment opportunities.

  • Accounting and Reporting

  • Oversee all accounting operations including Payroll, and inventory accounting.

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Coordinate internal and external audits and manage relationships with auditors.

  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management

  • Manage company’s cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability.

  • Oversee investment strategies, banking relationships, and financing arrangements.

  • Monitor currency risks, interest rates, and hedging strategies where applicable.

  • Risk Management and Compliance

  • Ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.

  • Liaise with external regulators, tax authorities, and consultants.

  • Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence.

  • Promote cross-functional collaboration with other departments.



Qualifications and Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

  • Professional accounting qualification e.g. ICAN is a must

  • Minimum of 12 - 15 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.

  • Proven experience in budgeting and financial modelling is compulsory.

  • Proficiency in financial management software.
