Job Summary:
- The Griller is responsible for preparing and cooking food items on the grill station according to established recipes and standards.
- This includes grilling meats, seafood, vegetables, and other menu items while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation and Cooking:
- Grill meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables to order.
- Ensure all grilled items are cooked to the correct temperature and quality.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
Station Setup and Maintenance:
- Prepare the grill station with all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station throughout service.
Quality and Presentation:
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Monitor portion sizes and reduce food waste.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain proper temperature controls and handle raw and cooked food safely.
Inventory and Stocking:
- Report low stock levels of grill items or ingredients to kitchen supervisors.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries when needed.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and smooth food service.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and waitstaff regarding food readiness.
