We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Officer (Mechanical) with strong hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing industrial kitchen equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical systems within high-volume catering or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on industrial kitchen equipment such as ovens, steamers, dishwashers, and chillers.
Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs promptly to minimize equipment downtime.
Ensure all mechanical systems operate efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records.
Collaborate with other departments to respond to maintenance needs efficiently.
Support installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
Requirements
Certification in mechanical engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ practical experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within an industrial kitchen or manufacturing environment.
Minimum of Trade Test I, II & III in Mechanical or related discipline.
In-depth knowledge of industrial kitchen equipment maintenance and safety standards.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of kitchen and mechanical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
