We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented POS Technician to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals across various client locations.
You will play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance of POS devices, providing prompt technical assistance, and contributing to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and activate POS terminals at customer locations.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on POS devices.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on POS equipment.
Ensure all POS installations comply with company and regulatory standards.
Train users on the proper use and basic troubleshooting of POS systems.
Respond promptly to service requests and provide on-site or remote technical support.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and repairs.
Collaborate with the support and operations teams to enhance service delivery.
Recommend improvements to technical processes and device performance.
Requirements
OND / HND / BSc in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Proven years’ experience in POS device installation, maintenance, or technical support.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of networking and connectivity for POS terminals.
Ability to work independently and travel frequently across locations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
