Follow through on targets set by mobilizing deposit liabilities through the different products of the bank as well as generating risk assets thereby creating revenues for the bank.
Solicit/develop and maintain profitable long-term account relationship with customers.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that target set in terms of deposit liabilities, risk assets and Profit after Tax PAT/PBT are met.
Assist in the preparation of annual sales plans and strategies to enable the team achieve targeted growth objectives.
Prospect and market bank’s products to meet customer needs.
Negotiate & convince customers to buy the bank’s product/services (liability, risk etc.).
Assist in the development and update of strategic plans in-line with the current prevailing market realities.
Manage and deepen relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Maintain strong interdepartmental relationships with relevant departments and follow up on transaction processing to ensure customer instructions are attended to promptly and efficiently.
Maintain adequate records of all transactions.
Marketing of Banks product to customers
Proper Appraisal of loan request in-line with Banks process
Prompt packaging of customers transactions
Ensure compliance with AML/CFT guidelines
Effective Management of loan Portfolios
Relationship Management & collection of monthly repayments
Recovery of delinquent loans
Prompt processing of liquidation of facilities and rollovers.
Generation of monthly/periodic reports
Ensure effective relationship management with new and existing customers to improve deposit liability growth and mix.
Requirements
Minimum of a First Degree
A post graduate degree is an added advantage
Minimum of 3 years in a Financial Institution environment
Knowledge:
Knowledge of financial service channels.arket/y
Knowledge of customer needs across different segments such as income, geography, culture, demography and markets (Market segmentation and analysis).
