The Security Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations, ensuring the safety and protection of personnel, assets, and facilities.
This role involves supervising a team of security officers, managing incident responses, enforcing policies and procedures, and coordinating with management and external stakeholders to maintain a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel on assigned shifts.
Monitor security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) and respond to incidents promptly.
Ensure proper implementation of all security policies, procedures, and protocols.
Conduct regular security inspections and audits to assess vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Train, coach, and evaluate performance of security staff.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and investigations.
Manage shift schedules, attendance, and coverage to ensure continuous protection.
Respond to and investigate security breaches, alarms, and emergencies.
Education Requirements
OND / HND / BSc Degree in Security Management, Criminology or related / certified courses
Experience Requirements:
3 - 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Experience in incident response, report writing, and team supervision.
