- The Business Unit Head will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end sales process, including strategy development, revenue growth, team leadership, and collections management.
- The ideal candidate must be result-driven, commercially astute, and capable of inspiring a high-performance culture while delivering on core KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor market trends and competition to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams on go-to-market initiatives and promotional plans.
- Lead and manage sales teams across assigned locations.
- Set targets, track performance, and conduct regular coaching and training sessions.
- Build a strong, motivated, and accountable sales culture.
- Drive timely collections and manage customer repayment schedules.
- Develop proactive strategies to reduce DSO and enhance cash flow.
- Provide regular collections updates and risk analysis to management.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Address client issues promptly and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Conduct field visits to ensure customer retention and engagement.
- Generate and present reports on sales, collections, and operational KPIs.
- Leverage data analytics to drive strategy adjustments and process improvements.
- Align cross-functional teams toward achieving business unit goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Identify risk areas in the sales and collections processes and implement controls.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years proven experience in sales leadership or commercial operations, preferably in the refrigeration, electronics, or B2B sectors.
- Demonstrated success in hitting sales targets and improving collections metrics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple locations effectively.
