Job Summary




  • We are seeking an experienced Assistant Facility Manager to join our team.

  • As an Assistant Facility Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, supporting our employees, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.



Responsibilities




  • Assist the Facility Manager in overseeing daily facility operations, maintenance, and repairs

  • Manage and perform routine maintenance and repairs of office equipment and systems, including:

  • Air Conditioning (AC) systems

  • Furniture and fixtures (e.g., chairs, tables, cabinets)

  • Electrical systems and lighting

  • Plumbing and water systems

  • Building maintenance and repairs (e.g., painting, carpentry, etc)

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for larger maintenance and repair projects

  • Lead and coordinate the facility team, including:

  • Supervising and guiding technicians and maintenance staff

  • Assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of work orders

  • Providing training and development opportunities for team members

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies

  • Develop and implement facility management plans, budgets, and procedures

  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and stakeholders

  • Monitor and control facility-related expenses and budgets

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements



Requirements




  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in a similar role.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

  • Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance, and management

  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proximity to Isolo, Lagos State
