As a Office Assistant/ Cleaner at Webber Engineering Nigeria Limited, you play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable workspace for our team and clients. Your responsibilities include various cleaning tasks and providing general assistance to support our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing all office areas.
Keep restrooms, kitchen, and common areas clean and well-maintained.
Ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables.
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
Arrange and organize office furniture, equipment, and supplies for efficiency and a pleasant work environment.
Prepare meeting rooms for meetings and events.
Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
Assist in setting up office equipment when required.
Support with general office procurement, including the purchase of food and other supplies.
Help with minor office tasks, such as moving furniture or equipment.
Strictly follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate authority.
Additionally, staff members may be assigned other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the company to support our operations and objectives.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies to maintain a clean and hygienic office environment.
Effective time management skills to efficiently complete cleaning tasks and office support responsibilities within designated timeframes.
A keen eye for detail to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to high standards.
Ability to organize cleaning supplies, track inventory, and maintain a well-organized office space.
Good communication skills to interact with office staff and report maintenance or supply needs.
Physical fitness and stamina for carrying out cleaning tasks, lifting, and moving furniture or supplies.
Willingness to collaborate with other staff members and assist with various office tasks when required.
Ability to identify and address cleaning or maintenance issues and resolve them effectively.
Must be living around Anthony Village, Maryland and environs.
Qualifications:
Should possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or an equivalent educational qualification as a minimum educational requirement.
Prior experience in office assistant, cleaning, janitorial work, or related roles is a plus.
