Responsibilities
Lesson Planning and Preparation:
- Develop detailed lesson plans and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons tailored to students' needs.
Instruction Delivery:
- Teach subject content using effective and diverse methods, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities.
Student Assessment:
- Create, administer, and evaluate tests, assignments, and projects to assess student understanding and progress.
Classroom Management:
- Maintain an organized, safe, and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
Individualized Support:
- Provide additional help to students struggling with the subject and extend learning opportunities for advanced learners.
Resource Development:
- Design and utilize teaching aids, digital tools, and other resources to enhance learning outcomes.
Communication with Stakeholders:
- Regularly communicate with parents/guardians about student performance, progress, and concerns.
Professional Development:
- Participate in training and workshops to stay updated with new teaching methods and subject knowledge.
Mentorship and Guidance:
- Act as a role model and mentor, fostering students' personal and academic growth.
Collaboration:
- Work with other teachers, school staff, and administrators to align teaching strategies and meet school objectives.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND or Master's Degree qualification with 4 - 9 years work experience.
