Job Summary




  • We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Project Manager to lead and deliver high-impact mini-grid energy projects across Nigeria.

  • The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong engineering background and a proven track record in delivering energy infrastructure projects from concept to completion.



Duties and Responsibilities




  • Responsible for managing the production of required project deliverables.

  • Planning and monitoring of projects, energy audits, and management.

  • Use of project assurance roles within agreed reporting structures.

  • Preparing and maintaining project stage plans as required.

  • Managing project documentation and reports.

  • Coordinating all project activities and interfacing with clients.

  • Installation and commissioning of completed projects.

  • Leading the team to achieve common goals, managing team members, and achieving commitment to the project.

  • Developing proposals for new projects, providing strategies to cut project costs and increase revenue.

  • Planning and managing all project resources.

  • Responsible for project logistics management system.

  • Training of project staff.

  • Overseeing QA/ QC certifications and standards.

  • Working with executives to implement performance management strategies and identify new opportunities.

  • Any other tasks that may be deemed fit by the executive director.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience managing mini-grid or renewable energy infrastructure projects.

  • Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) is a strong advantage.

  • Strong leadership, planning, and analytical skills with a high sense of ownership and urgency.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
