Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies and key distribution partners.
Execute strategic sales plans to grow market share and meet revenue targets.
Promote airline products and services to agency partners and drive ticket sales.
Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Deliver training and support to agency staff to ensure product knowledge and compliance.
Develop effective proposals for current and prospective clients.
Provide market intelligence reports, including competitor information, to identify threats and opportunities
Attend industry events and represent the company in relevant forums.
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Tourism, Aviation or any related field.
Professional certification in Airline and IATA (International Air Transport Association) is mandatory.
A minimum of 3 years proven experience in sales within the airline and travel industry, particularly dealing with agency or trade sales, is compulsory.
A sound understanding of airline ticketing, agency distribution systems, and travel market dynamics is mandatory.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to work independently, travel when required, and meet tight deadlines.
Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
