The Medical Officer provides high-quality medical care to patients in line with clinical protocols and guidelines.
They conduct patient consultations, diagnose and treat illnesses, manage emergencies, and participate in clinical governance activities to ensure safe and effective service deliver.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery
Valid license to practice from the relevant Medical Council.
Minimum of 3 years of post Nysc clinical experience.
Proven clinical competence in general medicine and emergency care.
Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if needed.
