A reputable organization is seeking a Trade Finance Executive to manage all trade finance operations related to imports and exports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and effective coordination with banks and sister companies.
The ideal candidate will handle documentation, letters of credit, and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth trade transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Handle all documentation for imports and exports related to banking and operations
Manage the Trade Finance desk, including TRMS portal trade forms, NXP, Form M, and others
Draft Letters of Credit (LC) and follow up with banks for LC issuance
Present shipment documents to banks in a timely manner
Coordinate with the Country Finance Manager to negotiate banking terms and conditions on LCs

Maintain strong relationships with Relationship Managers (RMs) for import transactions
Coordinate with sister companies on export and import matters
Advise on necessary changes to streamline export and import processes
Liaise with regulatory agencies such as NAFDAC and SONCAP for certification
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, International Business, or related field
Knowledge of trade laws and regulations, including import/export requirements and international sanctions
Minimum 5 years proven experience in trade finance management, preferably in a similar industry or organization
