Job Summary




  • We are looking for a results-driven and proactive Business Development Officer to identify growth opportunities, build client relationships, and drive revenue across our retail and wholesale operations.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the market, customer behavior, and business development strategies that generate sustainable business growth.



Responsibilities




  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the retail and wholesale sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.

  • Generate leads, follow up on prospects, and convert them into business opportunities.

  • Develop proposals, presentations, and business pitches to prospective clients.

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and business development targets.

  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

  • Provide regular reports on business development activities and outcomes.



Requirements




  • B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 2 – 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in retail or wholesale sectors.



Skills:




  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
