We are looking for a results-driven and proactive Business Development Officer to identify growth opportunities, build client relationships, and drive revenue across our retail and wholesale operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the market, customer behavior, and business development strategies that generate sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the retail and wholesale sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
Generate leads, follow up on prospects, and convert them into business opportunities.
Develop proposals, presentations, and business pitches to prospective clients.
Meet or exceed monthly sales and business development targets.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Provide regular reports on business development activities and outcomes.
Requirements
B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2 – 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in retail or wholesale sectors.
