  • We are seeking an entrepreneurial and strategic Pharmacy Business Unit Lead to oversee and drive the performance of our pharmacy services across (across hospital chain).

  • This role combines operational oversight with business management, ensuring the pharmacy unit operates efficiently, delivers outstanding patient care, and achieves its financial and service targets.



Responsibilities




  • Ensure robust stakeholder engagement, collaborating with clinical departments, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and hospital leadership.

  • Develop and execute the pharmacy business strategy to ensure alignment with the organization’s clinical, operational, and commercial goals.

  • Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of pharmacists, technicians, and administrative staff to achieve operational excellence.

  • Lead and manage the pharmacy operations in assigned business unit as a profit and service center, including, revenue growth, and performance monitoring.

  • Oversee end-to-end pharmacy operations, including inventory management, procurement, and regulatory compliance.

  • Drive growth and innovation in pharmacy services — identify strategies for business execution, expand service and enhance patient experience.

  • Monitor key business metrics such as prescription turnaround time, inventory turnover, cost efficiency, patient satisfaction, and regulatory audit outcomes.

  • Champion digital transformation initiatives — e.g. automation, e-prescribing, pharmacy informatics — to drive efficiency and accuracy.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or PharmD); a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is a strong advantage.

  • Licensed to practice pharmacy

  • Minimum of 5 years’ pharmacy experience, including 2+ years in a business leadership role.

  • Strong commercial acumen, data-driven decision-making, and proven ability to manage large teams and budgets.

  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations, healthcare regulations, and supply chain management.
