Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the daily performance of all employees at the oncology centre, ensuring the highest standards of care and operational efficiency.
Ensure the delivery of quality, patient-centered services, with a focus on oncology care and treatment.
Supervise the overall facility operations, including staff responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and safety tasks, ensuring compliance with healthcare and oncology standards.
Manage the effective use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) in oncology care, including staff training, coordination of patient flow, and ensuring accuracy of records.
Schedule patient appointments with oncologists, nurses, radiation therapists, dietitians, and other health professionals to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Develop and manage quarterly and annual budgets for the oncology centre, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols specific to oncology care and operational processes.
Ensure the timely ordering and stocking of medical, oncology-related supplies, and office supplies.
Prepare and follow up on proposals aimed at attracting and retaining oncology patients.
Proactively engage in cross-selling oncology services and enhance patient and community relationships.
Develop and execute marketing initiatives and strategies to raise awareness of the oncology services and attract new patients.
Ensure the security and safety of patients, staff, and property within the oncology centre.
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reports on oncology centre operations for management review.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (H.N.D.) in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital or oncology operations/management, with a strong understanding of oncology services.
The ideal candidate must be able to communicate in Hausa language
Professional qualification from a relevant professional body (e.g., healthcare management or oncology) is an added advantage.
Ability to manage complex, sensitive situations and provide optimal solutions.
Proficiency in the use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and healthcare software.
