The Senior Manager of the Driving Training Institute is responsible for leading all operations, business development, and team performance within the department.
Reporting to the Executive Chairman, he will represent the institute in executive meetings and drive strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen, leadership presence, and the ability to grow revenue through proposals, presentations, and partnerships.
He will ensure the institute exceeds regulatory standards and customer expectations, positioning it as a top provider of driver training in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans for the driving training institute department in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
Lead, mentor, and manage the driving training team, including instructors, administrative staff, and support personnel.
Promote the driving training program through community outreach, partnerships, and marketing initiatives.
Set performance goals for the team and monitor progress through regular evaluations and feedback.
Monitor financial performance, including revenue generation, expenses, and profitability.
Identify opportunities to increase revenue, such as expanding service offerings or improving marketing efforts.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including individual learners, corporate clients, and government agencies.
Oversee the daily operations of the DTI department.
Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, implementing changes as necessary.
Prepare and manage the driving training program's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality.
Address customer concerns and feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on key performance indicators, financial results, and operational challenges.
Implement corrective actions where necessary to address any areas of underperformance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
6 - 10 years of experience preferably in a driving training and sales department.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management.
Knowledge of driving regulations, safety standards, and training methodologies.
Proficiency in using management software and tools.
