Job Summary:
Treasury Coverage Member is responsible for driving revenue and deepening client relationships through the delivery of bespoke treasury solutions. This includes advising clients on Foreign Exchange (FX), Fixed Income, Money Markets, Derivatives, and Investment Solutions, based on a clear understanding of their business models and financial goals. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams including ALM, Trading, Structuring, and Research to deliver market insights, optimize client strategies, and ensure flawless execution. A strong client orientation, commercial acumen, and understanding of financial markets are essential for success.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of corporate, institutional, and public sector clients with a focus on deepening wallet share through tailored treasury solutions.
- Originate and execute transactions across FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Liquidity Management products.
- Provide strategic market insights and hedging solutions to support clients’ risk management and investment needs.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Trading, Structuring, and Research teams to deliver holistic treasury services.
- Maintain regular contact with clients through market updates, idea pitches, and deal reviews.
- Ensure accurate documentation and execution of transactions in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Support the delivery of treasury mandates across the Bank’s African subsidiaries and key regional markets.
- Uphold a strong risk and compliance culture, ensuring transactions align with internal policies and market regulations.

Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field. A postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACI, ACT) is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury sales, financial markets, corporate banking, or investment advisory.
- Prior exposure to FX, interest rate products, or liquidity solutions is essential.
- Experience in client coverage or product delivery within African markets is a strong plus.
