We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Field Maintenance Engineer (FME) to join our operations team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of network equipment, access points, surveillance systems, and related infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on client and in-house systems including CCTV, wireless access points (APs), routers, switches, and cabling.
Respond to escalated support tickets and maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct site surveys and provide detailed reports with recommendations.
Install and configure wireless radios (e.g., Ubiquiti NanoStation), switches, APs, and CCTV cameras.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance logs, installation plans, and material usage.
Collaborate with the Network Operations Center (NOC), project teams, and clients to resolve technical issues.
Ensure adherence to safety procedures and standards during field operations.
Participate in weekend/holiday rotation schedules as needed.
Requirements
OND / HND / BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years of experience in technical fieldwork, particularly in IT, surveillance, or networking environments.
Hands-on experience with tools and equipment used in network and CCTV installations.
Familiarity with cable termination, crimping, and trunking.
Ability to use test tools for signal tracing and device configuration.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Ubiquiti, Mikrotik, or Huawei network devices.
Knowledge of IP addressing, basic routing, and wireless technologies.
