Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Assurance Lead to manage all quality assurance activities within our manufacturing facility.
- The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements, while leading a dedicated QA team and collaborating across departments to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily QA operations in the production facility.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, GMP, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement quality procedures, testing protocols, and inspection plans.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain product quality.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation as per QMS guidelines.
- Train, mentor, and manage performance of QA team members.
- Track and report on quality metrics and suggest improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- HND / Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Food Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality assurance, preferably in the food or snack manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, and other quality systems.
- Experience leading QA teams and managing compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with quality documentation, audits, and corrective action processes.
