Job Summary




  • The Sales Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data to provide actionable insights that drive sales performance, optimize sales strategies, and support business decisions.

  • The role involves evaluating trends, forecasting demand, tracking KPIs, and preparing detailed reports for the sales and management teams.



Key Responsibilities




  • Collect, analyze, and report sales data from various sources such as CRM systems, ERP platforms, and distributor reports.

  • Generate regular sales performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and sales teams.

  • Track and monitor key sales metrics (e.g., volume, revenue, customer growth, territory performance, etc.).

  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and revenue generation.

  • Assist in sales forecasting and demand planning, working closely with supply chain and marketing teams.

  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies based on analytical findings.

  • Evaluate the success of promotional campaigns and pricing initiatives using historical data and ROI analysis.

  • Segment customers and territories for more efficient targeting and resource allocation.

  • Maintain sales database integrity and ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry.

  • Collaborate with sales representatives, marketing, and finance teams to support cross-functional projects.



Key Skills & Competencies:




  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Zoho)

  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex data clearly

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good organizational and time management skills

  • Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
