Responsibilities
Curriculum Planning and Development:
- Develop detailed and well-structured lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Create engaging and innovative teaching materials, incorporating various instructional strategies to meet diverse learning styles.
Classroom Instruction:
- Deliver lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking, making the subject matter accessible and relevant to students.
- Utilize effective teaching methodologies, technology, and resources to enhance the learning experience.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Prepare and submit question banks on the scheduled date.
- Design and administer assessments to measure students' understanding of the subject.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic performance, identifying areas of improvement and recognizing achievements.
Student Engagement and Support:
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
- Provide additional support to students who require assistance, addressing individual learning needs.
Collaboration and Professional Development:
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary approaches and contribute to the overall school curriculum.
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about educational trends, advancements, and best practices within the subject area.
Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication with the principal, vice principal- academics, students, and colleagues regarding students' progress, behavior, and academic achievements..
Classroom Management:
- Establish and enforce a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to address behavioral issues and maintain a respectful atmosphere.
Continuous Improvement:
- Reflect on teaching practices, seek feedback, and actively participate in self-evaluation to enhance professional growth.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and collaborate with peers to continuously improve the overall educational experience for students.
- Any other additional responsibility as may be assigned by the primary head and management.
