Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Telesales to lead the telesales function of our asset management business.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in developing and executing sales strategies, leading high-performing telesales teams, and consistently achieving revenue targets through outbound client engagement.
- The role requires a deep understanding of financial products, especially investment and wealth solutions, and the ability to drive sustainable customer acquisition and retention through phone and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a robust telesales strategy aligned with the organization’s asset growth and revenue objectives.
- Drive sales of investment products (e.g., mutual funds, savings plans, fixed income products) via outbound calls and digital follow-ups.
- Analyze sales performance and market trends to refine sales campaigns, targeting, and conversion approaches.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of telesales agents and supervisors to deliver results.
- Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and productivity metrics.
- Provide coaching, motivation, and performance feedback to team members to improve sales conversion rates.
Operations & Process Optimization:
- Establish efficient call center workflows, sales scripts, and follow-up protocols.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of all client interactions and sales outcomes via CRM systems.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and customer service standards.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting:
- Collaborate with product, marketing, digital, and compliance teams to support campaigns and drive product visibility.
- Provide regular performance updates and sales reports to senior management.
- Represent the telesales team in strategic meetings and planning sessions.
Requirements
Education & Certification:
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
- Relevant certifications in sales, leadership, or financial advisory are a plus.
Experience:
- Must have 7–10 years’ experience in telesales, retail sales, or contact center management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within an asset management firm or financial institution.
- Demonstrated ability to drive product uptake in investment or wealth management products.
- Experience managing high-volume, outbound call operations with measurable results.
