Job Summary
- To provide plumbing services within the Estate and assigned facilities function for an estate, including responsibility for its office, and other development projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems by reading blueprints and drawings.
- Install, service, and maintain water treatment systems, including Reverse Osmosis Systems and sewage treatment.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, clogged drains, including pipes, tubes, fittings, and valves.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems and appliances, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct water treatment operations, including dosing chemicals and maintaining water quality.
- Diagnose plumbing issues, troubleshoot Reverse Osmosis systems, and perform necessary repairs.
- Prepare cost estimates and determine piping system requirements, including pipe sizing.
- Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes in place, ensuring proper assembly and installation.
- Attend to plumbing and drain service issues in residential, and commercial settings while effectively communicating with clients and Facility Managers.
Education and Experience
- Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification
- 3 - 5 years proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role.
- Valid plumbing certification or license.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety practices.
- Experience with water treatment systems and Reverse Osmosis technology is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
