Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Outreach Manager to lead and coordinate strategic projects across our outreach portfolio, including seminars, webinars, the Nairametrics Academy, and business engagement initiatives. This role combines strong project management skills with a passion for relationship-building and public engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans for outreach programs (e.g., webinars, seminars, academy initiatives).
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
- Coordinate projects across the editorial, marketing, tech, and operations departments to meet project goals.
- Manage project budgets efficiently and provide financial updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify risks, propose solutions, and develop contingency plans to keep projects on track.
- Ensure quality control and continuous improvement across all outreach deliverables.
- Document project progress and maintain detailed records, including meeting minutes and post-event evaluations.
- Act as the primary liaison between Nairametrics and external partners, collaborators, or clients.
- Drive engagement for our outreach initiatives by building and maintaining key relationships.
- Represent Nairametrics at external events, webinars, and meetings, as needed.
- Gather and respond to client/participant feedback to improve outreach offerings.
- Work closely with the marketing team to amplify outreach activities and campaigns.
- Identify new outreach opportunities that align with our strategic goals.
- Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders on outreach projects.
- Track KPIs and prepare post-project reports that highlight outcomes and improvement areas.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as an Outreach manager in a media-related industry.
- Bsc degree in Business Administration, Mass Communications or a related field.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in tools like Asana, Trello, or similar project management platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
