Brief Description




  • Responsible for developing and managing the production schedule for all operations.

  • Ensure that manufacturing activities are aligned with customer orders, inventory targets, and resource availability to meet delivery deadlines efficiently.

  • Work cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, inventory, and operations teams to optimize production flow and maintain schedule adherence.



Duties




  • Develop the production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed to meet the predicted completion date.

  • Monitor and adjust production plans to accommodate changes in demand, supply delays, or equipment availability.

  • Create a better workflow that uses company resources more effectively.

  • Liaise with Material Controller to ensure timely availability of parts and raw materials to minimize downtime and escalate critical shortages.

  • Follow up to ensure assigned jobs align with the plan.

  • Update and amend Bill of Materials (BOMs) in the ERP system (AX) based on design changes, substitutions, or corrective actions from engineering.

  • Monitor production progress to ensure timely delivery. Identify delays and adjust schedules accordingly to meet deadlines.

  • Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.

  • Generate production reports.



Requirements




  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 3 - 5 years work experience.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing resource planning

  • Experience in production and material planning

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines

  • Strong reporting skills

  • Highly enthusiastic with strong problem-solving skills

  • Highly attentive to details

  • Professional in MS. Office skills, Primavera, etc

  • Strong ERP knowledge and experience
