Job Responsibilities

• The Registered Midwife provides high-quality maternity care to women during pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period.


• The role involves monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, conducting deliveries, providing emotional support, and ensuring safe practices in line with established medical guidelines and hospital protocols.

Requirements

• Registered and licensed midwife with the appropriate regulatory body.


• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.


• Sound knowledge of maternal and newborn care, emergency obstetric care, and family planning.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathetic skills.


• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.


• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
