Job Summary:

The AC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems and HVAC units. The role ensures all cooling and ventilation systems are functioning efficiently and safely in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems.


• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.


• Perform regular preventive maintenance on AC units and related equipment.


• Clean and replace filters, check coolant levels, and ensure optimal system performance.


• Respond promptly to repair requests and resolve issues efficiently.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and time spent.


• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations.


• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to handle general facility upkeep.


• Report any major system faults or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Technical certification or diploma in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or related field.


• Proven experience as an AC technician or in a similar maintenance role.


• Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety practices.


• Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.


• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


• Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights.


• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or emergency calls.
