Reports To: Food and Beverage Manager / Restaurant Manager
Job Summary:
The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations in restaurants, bars, or banquet areas, ensuring exceptional service, staff coordination, and smooth execution of food and beverage service. The role ensures guest satisfaction while maintaining quality and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of F&B staff, including waiters, waitress, bartenders and stewards.
- Ensure excellent guest service by monitoring quality, speed, and efficiency.
- Assist in training, scheduling, and evaluating team members.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store or kitchen for restocking.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of dining and service areas.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including shift reports and cash handling.
- Support special events, banquets, and promotional activities as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and management teams.
Requirements:
- OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage service.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage operations and service etiquette.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and flexible schedules (nights, weekends, holidays).
