The HSE Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental protocols across our e-commerce operations, including warehouses, offices, and delivery processes.
Job Description
Develop HSE Processes and Procedures and drives implementation and standards across the Company operations.
Review and maintain internal Documentation Process.
Design and deliver safety training programs for employees, including warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and office personnel, covering topics such as safe lifting techniques, fire safety, and emergency response procedures.
Responsible for all aspects of incident investigation including verifying root cause and recommendations for implementation and preventing a reoccurrence.
Work closely with warehouse managers, logistics teams, and HR to integrate safety practices into daily operations and promote a safety-focused culture.
Lead investigations into workplace accidents, near-misses, or environmental incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Ensure all e-commerce facilities and processes adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of packaging materials and waste management.
Use tools like Excel to monitor safety metrics, track incidents, and prepare reports for management on HSE performance.
Develops Monthly Mock drill scenarios and reviews feedbacks from drill report for all locations.
Ensures emergency response systems, policies and procedures are in place to manage emergency situations and is maintained.
Evaluate and update HSE policies and procedures to align with evolving industry standards and e-commerce operational needs.
Qualifications
Minimum of BSc Degree in any Science or Social Science related Course.
Certifications in Health and Safety Courses (such as NEBOSH IGC 1 and 2, First Aid, etc.)
Minimum of 3 years+ experience in health and safety
