ROLE DESCRIPTION
- To carry out assigned repair and replacement tasks on aircraft and aircraft systems in accordance with regulatory and company procedures to uphold high safety standards and schedule integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned inspection, repair, replacement and modification tasks on aircraft and aircraft systems under supervision.
- Trouble shooting at a task level in accordance with standard operating procedures, under supervision.
- Daily planning for execution of allocated tasks, by supervisor.
- Accurately record and sign all maintenance tasks carried out to ensure aircraft history is correct and up to date.
- Report incident / accident occurrences as per company procedures.
- Communicate with internal customers to give and receive information on assigned duties
- Adhere to the company safety, health, and environmental policy
- Work towards acquiring basic licenses.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Aeronautical/Instrumentation).
- At least three (3) years working experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Basic Knowledge of Aircraft Systems
- Basic Knowledge of Aviation Legislation/Regulations
- Ability to interpret technical data
- Knowledge of Industrial Safety Standards
- Proficiency in computer Literacy
- Human factors knowledge
