Responsibilities

Main Tasks or Activities of the Job:




  • Contribute to the design, planning, and development of program strategies focused on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), ensuring alignment with national priorities and global standards.

  • Coordinate the implementation of SRHR projects, ensuring all activities are executed in line with approved work plans, timelines, budgets, and expected outcomes.

  • Drive demand generation efforts targeted at increasing access and utilization of SRHR services among adolescents and young adults, particularly in underserved communities across Nigeria.

  • Prepare and submit high-quality technical documents, including progress reports, policy briefs, videos, and other relevant publications in a timely manner.

  • Assist in the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks to track program performance, outcomes, and impact.

  • Participate in capacity-building activities and stakeholder engagement meetings to promote advocacy and knowledge sharing around SRHR.



Requirements




  • Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in health sciences, social sciences, public health, or a related field

  • Minimum of two years of hands-on experience supporting or managing SRHR-focused programs within an NGO or a community.

  • Strong understanding of SRHR issues, policies, and frameworks at the local, national, regional, and international levels.

  • Proven skills in technical writing and professional communication, including the ability to develop compelling proposals, reports, and presentation materials, and to lead or facilitate sessions as needed.

  • Proficiency in the use of Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work independently while maintaining team collaboration.

  • Proficiency in Yoruba is mandatory due to the nature and location of community-based activities.

  • Familiarity with youth engagement strategies and gender-sensitive programming will be considered an asset.
