About the job




  • We're looking to employ a motivated and experienced site supervisor to oversee building projects and manage the construction team. The site supervisor is responsible for procuring building supplies, arranging equipment maintenance as needed, and training new construction staff. You should also be able to perform first aid in emergencies.

  • To be successful in this role, as a site supervisor, you must be detail-oriented and knowledgeable about building standards and construction safety laws. Finally, an amazing site supervisor must be able to comprehend building designs while also demonstrating exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.



Responsibilities:




  • ⁠Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are executed according to plan, specifications, and schedule.

  • ⁠Supervise and guide construction workers, including assigning tasks, providing training, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.

  • ⁠Coordinate and schedule work activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and workers to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

  • ⁠Maintain accurate and detailed records of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and material deliveries to ensure transparent documentation throughout the project.

  • ⁠Manage and control project costs by monitoring expenses, tracking materials and equipment, and overseeing the budget allocated for the site.

  • Communicate and coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address questions, provide updates, and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.

  • ⁠Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.



Required Qualifications:




  • ⁠Proven 3-5 years experience as a site supervisor or in a similar role in the construction industry.

  • ⁠Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • ⁠Certification in Construction Supervision or a related field is a plus.

  • ⁠In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, regulations, and best practices.

  • ⁠Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints.

  • ⁠Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • ⁠Strong leadership and problem-solving skills to manage on-site challenges effectively and make quick decisions.
